Hikkaduwa was Pretty- the beaches usually are not also big, but are great for swimming. I cherished the turtle beach where four turtles can be seen morning and evening while in the h2o. I also had the fortune to get in Hikkaduwa if the newborn turtles ended up hatching and witnessed every time they were being released in the evening around sunset.â

This can be a choice I only recommend for people on a really tight budget and with lots of time. Public transport is everywhere in Sri Lanka in the form of general public buses and trains.
